Bravo Jack! There are plenty of people on the breadline in Germany, too, who could do with your advice on how to do good meals on a shoestring. (Don’t believe all you read in the papers about how well Germany is doing. Hartz IV benefit system recipients and the unemployed are struggling there as here)

Jack is in quiet a few German papers right now. People living in the big cites (eg Munich and Hamburg) earn normal wages and struggle with living on it, as everything else is so expensive (same as big cities in the UK). Hartz IV is a nightmare and a lot of people are living on the line.
