My Favourite St Patrick’s Day Recipes
Top of the MORNING to ya! I love St Patrick’s Day, me, and not just because of my Irish mother and her large and characterful Irish family, but because it’s also my BIRTHDAY. And how wonderful it is to walk into the pub on my birthday and be greeted with an Irish band singing Chieftains covers, a loud bunch of extremely happy people throwing their heads back and roaring along, and pints and pints of the black stuff. Imagine my JOY at legitimately being allowed to have boxties (leftover-mash-pancakes) for breakfast on my birthday. And Irish coffee at all hours. And pints and pints of the black stuff. The major department stores start preparing for it well in advance, so I’m usually delightfully inundated with Guinness toffee and Guinness chocolate cake and at least one tankard and a large pair of comedy slippers, and I love it, so without further ado, here’s my top favourite recipes for today, and remember, good nosh isn’t just for St Patrick’s Day, but it’s a great place to start.

A wonderful list of recipes! Thanks
Hello Jack,
I recently had to leave my job due to the large amounts of stress and anxiety and panic attacks I was experiencing. It was a well paid job and out of myself and my husband I was the main breadwinner, without another job on the horizon yet and no savings it has been one scary road and one of my greatest fears has been not being able to feed my two little girls. After looking at ways to save and ways to feed them well I came across your website. It has been a real eye opener especially when it comes to shopping and cooking smart. I just wanted to say thank you, it’s great to know a chef who cooks and shops smart.
All the best,
Pia
